Alex joined the team in June 2026. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Michigan. Since graduating, he has worked in Detroit in community-based HIV prevention and outreach, helping connect individuals to prevention services, testing, and care.
What motivates you to do this work?
I am motivated by a passion for health equity and a commitment to improving the health of underserved communities. Through my work in HIV prevention and community outreach, I have seen firsthand how social and structural barriers can impact health outcomes. These experiences have reinforced my desire to help address health disparities and improve access to quality care.
