What motivates you to do this work?

Growing up in Montana, I’ve seen firsthand how factors such as geography, access to resources, and social support systems can shape a person’s healthcare experience. Those experiences sparked my passion for health equity and for addressing the barriers that often prevent individuals from receiving quality care. I am excited to contribute to research that works to reduce barriers and stigma surrounding healthcare access while promoting more compassionate, patient-centered approaches to chronic disease care.
